It demonstrates that since the company’s incorporation, it has remained active and continuously in operation. Such a certificate can only be issued if there are no ongoing actions to remove the company from the official registry.
At Form My Company, we issue a Certificate of Good Standing only when your company is fully up to date with all filings. Certain requirements must be met before we can proceed: for private limited companies, there must be at least one director who is a natural person. For public limited companies, the certificate can be issued if the company has at least one secretary and two directors, including at least one natural person.
