When to use an international courier

If you live outside the UK, your company documents often need to travel to a bank, notary or authority abroad. Standard international post can be slow and is not always tracked. Our international courier service sends them door to door with tracking.

It is often used for:

How it works

  1. Add international courier delivery to your order.
  2. Give us the full delivery address and a local phone number for the recipient.
  3. We pack the documents and prepare the courier paperwork.
  4. We hand them to the courier and email you the tracking number.

Delivery times and customs

Delivery times depend on the destination country, the courier's network and local customs. Many deliveries arrive within 2–5 working days of dispatch, but some countries take longer and times cannot be guaranteed. Documents rarely attract duties, but customs checks can still add delays. Some countries may ask the recipient for an ID number or tax number to release the package — tell us if you know this is needed.

If you have a deadline, tell us when you order. We will tell you if it is realistic.

What you need to provide

  • Full delivery address, including postcode where one is used
  • Recipient's name and a phone number with the country code
  • Any local ID or tax number the courier or customs need
  • Any delivery instructions

Things to know

  • Couriers cannot deliver to PO boxes in most countries.
  • A few destinations may be restricted by the courier. If so, we will tell you and suggest an alternative.
  • The £70 price covers a normal set of company documents. Heavy or bulky items may cost more; we will confirm first.

Frequently asked questions

How long does international courier delivery take?

It depends on the country and customs. Many deliveries arrive within 2–5 working days of dispatch, but some take longer.

Will I have to pay customs charges?

Documents rarely attract duties, but local rules vary and some countries may charge fees. Any local charges are the recipient's responsibility.

Can you send documents to any country?

To most countries, yes. A few destinations may be restricted by the courier; we will tell you before dispatch.

Why do you need the recipient's phone number?

Couriers and customs often contact the recipient to arrange delivery or ask for information. A phone number with the country code avoids delays.
